THE U.S.O.
The men and women on active duty often come to the U.S.O. to have a place to regroup and gather
in a friendly place while traveling from Base to Base or Duty station.
The U.S.O. organization has asked for our help,
through donations that they can give out to the guys and gals on active duty.

You can drop off any of the Items on this list to the Post and they will get out to the U.S.O. at O'Hare field.

FORGOTTEN WARRIOR MEMORIAL
Channahon State Park, Channahon, Illinois
The Forgotten Warrior Memorial was built as a tribute to all those veterans who have served
and sacrificed their lives as a direct result of PTSD.
This beautiful monument is located at scenic Channahon State Park and serves as a reminder
that PTSD is a real wound acquired in war that needs to be treated long after returning home.
The Veterans Administration tells us that 22 lives are lost every day due to PTSD from the trauma of war.
