Sons of Legion Meetings

Post and Sons of Legion Meetings are held together at 7:00 pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month:

January, February, July, August, September, October, and November.

There is not a meeting in December. 

In March, April, May, and June, Post and S.A.L. meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday

of each month at 7:00 pm.

Obituary:

I'm sorry to have to report that we have lost one of our great SAL members, George Koop. George lost his battle with cancer last Thursday January 16. George was a good friend, and a great member of the Sons of the American Legion. He was the current 2nd Division Commander, 10th District adjutant and finance officer, and the Detachment finance commission chairman. George has also held many past offices in his squadron, the 10th district, and 2nd division. According to his wishes he will be cremated, and his family has arrange a Celebration of Life for him. It will be held at his home post #911 Wacounda located at 515 S. Main St. The service will begin at 3pm on Saturday February 1. All of his friends are encouraged to attend.
